Violinist | Composer

A traveler’s walk home, inspired by everyday sounds from around the world, such as - her son’s heartbeat, Haleakala’s silence, cicadas in the Grecian morning, the sweeping of an Indian doorstep.
Atmospheric and nostalgic, lonely and peaceful. 

I grew up in a musical house in a musical neighborhood. The sound of a violin tuning, was a sound of home.  I lived in the classical music world for many years and then as a young adult my interests took me traveling around the world. Along the way, I was influenced by different cultures and approaches to music. I began to weave these influences into my playing. 

I have toured  internationally with bands as a violinist and seen much of the world through the perspective of the stage. Perhaps, what I am most known for is my long time accompaniment of Krishna Das. In Krishna Das’s music I found a merging of music and spirituality that resonated. Through my work with Krishna Das I have toured extensively throughout North America, South America and Europe. 

My hope is that my music will in some way bring you home.
